Ho’oponopono ; stop trying to “kill” your ego!

There is a dangerous trend in spirituality…That’s all this rubbish about killing the ego…Almost all religious authorities and self-proclamed “spiritual masters” ask you for this sacrifice as a way to get this famous “realization”…In fact they mean I keep mine but get rid of yours…

This is called “manipulation” and not “realization”…Precisely, we have an ego because it’s a vital application to navigate in the material and the social world. That’s the “ego” which gives us a feeling of I-amness…Without an ego we would only be a fleeting atom in the infinite of the universe.

On our trail towards realization, our challenge as human is not to get rid of the sense of separation created by our feeling of id-entity. Illumination is not a big flash of divine light allowing us to shift to another world. It is just letting go of the darkness of our ignorance to allow us finally to understand how things work on this plane of existence.

We are not our tiny “ego”, it is not us. It is only a navigational tool, a kind of GPS giving us the awareness that there is a consciousness driving the car and listening to the instructions…That’s it…

Don’t ask who is the driver, nobody knows, but know for sure that there is a driver. The same driver is now precisely reading the words on this screen…But he have no idea about who in fact is reading.

Alzheimer is a state resulting of the weakening of the ego. The same person may have been living normally with a strong sense of space and time, of logic, of organisation and rythme, but at some point, all those landmarks get erased. Slowly by slowly they are melting in the whole, the way a drop of water melts in the sea.

That’s not the way we want to get it…Becoming a drop of water is not what we are looking for. That’s not our human mission. A drop of water have the mission to be part of the “global water body”, but whatever we do, we are part of ‘global humanity”…

So, where lies our problem? It’s when we thing that our “ego” is all there is about our life…When we are convinced that we know who is driving the car and when we pretend to know who is talking in the GPS…

Even if we say that God or angels & archangels are talking in the GPS, we just express a belief…In fact, we know nothing about the real identity of the driver nor about the staff of the radio station broadcasting through the GPS…

Like our old greek ancestor Socrates, the only thing we are sure of is that we know nothing about all that is…

That is what is called “zero limit”…Understanding finally that all what we are thinking is just thin air, useless, without escape…

…and even knowing he gets to this mental “dead end” the driver still have the power to choose to go wherever he wants…
