Why did we choose to believe in “limitation”?

This morning I’d like to talk about ‘travel’, as a way of awakening some distant memories…

To begin with, we need to remember that the imagination of Spirit is limitless, since it is the sole source of ALL creative power. Consequently, we must remember that what we call ‘reality’ is just one of an infinite number of ‘parallel’ worlds that can be explored.

We need only think back to our friend Walt Disney. Didn’t he reveal this secret of the life of Being when he said: ‘If you can imagine it, you can make it happen…’?

‘If you remember the original meaning of the words, you will have understood that as users of this marvellous capacity to dream freely, we also have the possibility of making all our dreams our “reality”.

But you can easily understand how boring it would be to use this power freely… To imagine oneself King, Master of the world, absolute Magician, to be able to say to oneself at every moment: I THINK, THEREFORE I CREATE…Imagine having at your disposal everything you desire… What a bore: wealth, eternal life, infinite happiness…forever…

To avoid being bored, Spirit decided to go on holiday to a more exciting parallel world, a sort of exciting destination…This parallel reality had one particularity: it was governed by a very interesting law: THE LAW OF APPARENT LIMITATION…

In this ‘reality’, the mind had to earn what it could have so easily created in its own original way…

Here he had discovered a kind of Las Vegas, a world where gambling was the basic rule… In his original universe, you were guaranteed to win every time, but here his life could be a kind of giant, free casino. Giving up his omnipotence, here he could discover the excitement of winning or losing…

‘Losing’ seemed very exciting at first, because he knew he was the master of the GAME, he could turn back at any moment, he could play with different worlds at will…

But it’s the end of the holiday that makes those “escapes” so precious… It’s the fact that we’re able to go BACK HOME, back to our everyday lives; that gives all the flavour to these journeys that we take to change our habits, just the time of a parenthesis…

I’m sure you’ve already seen films where paradise-like islands become veritable hells and where the characters, feeling themselves the victims of a curse, settle their score for life and death until the last survivor commits suicide…

Believing oneself to be the prisoner of a holiday destination is the beginning of a disaster scenario… and yet, remembering that infinite imagination holds the key to everything, it is the absolute antidote capable of unravelling any situation…

The only way to get back to HOME is there, inside us, in the infinity of our mind. At any time, we can push open the door of a travel agency and confirm our return…

It’s as simple as that…Stay awake…
